ACAD SQL SERVER 2000 STANDARD 10-client
This is relational database management software. This is the next release of SQL following SQL 7.0 Server. There are no add-on retail client access licenses available for this product. Must purchase add-on licenses from OPEN or else purchase Internet Connector Processor License which covers unlimited users from the internet or intranet.

SQL 2000 Personal Edition: This is an install option within SQL 2000 Server. Use this to load on your desktoplaptop, work on the SQL database offline, then upload to your SQL Server.
Data Mining: Discover patterns and trends with data mining, and make predictions about future trends in your business.
English Query: Enable your users to pose questions in English instead of using Multi-Dimensional expressions (MDX).
Migration: Includes Migration wizard from SQL 7.0.
System & Other Requirements Must run on top of ONE of the following:

Standard Edition requires 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM.
Personal Edition requires 32 MB of RAM; 64 MB recommended.
Desktop Engine requires 32 MB of RAM.
Hard Disk:
Standard Edition and Personal Edition require:
- 270 MB for full installation of server.
- 250 MB for typical installation of server.
- 95 MB for minimum installation of server.
- 50 MB for minimum installation of Analysis Services; 130 MB for typical installation.
- 80 MB for Microsoft English Query, supported on Windows 2000 operating system but not logo certified.
Desktop Engine requires 44 MB of available hard-disk space.

Internet Requirement:Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
Networking Support:Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000 have built-in network software. Additional network software is required if you are using Banyan VINES or AppleTalk ADSP. Novell NetWare IPX/SPX client support is provided by the NWLink protocol of Windows-based networking.
Client Support: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT Workstation 4.0, and Windows 2000 Professional supported.
UNIX, Apple Macintosh, and OS/2 require Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) client software from a third-party vendor.
